  • Case study of a polygraph test conducted on an applicant vying for the position of Personal Assistant to the Chief Executive in a popular organization in Lagos. Issues relating to how and why she quit her last job, whether or not she was involved in any fraudulent activity at her previous places of work, authenticity of her degrees and her handling of minors were to be investigated. We discovered that the subject lied about relevant questions related to past fraud activities. We compiled our report and forwarded it to her prospective employer.
  • Another scenario is when a polygraph examination was conducted on an employee of a company in a case involving theft of armored cable which costs millions of naira. The suspect was polygraphed based on some professionally formulated relevant questions following a careful study of the case fact. The polygraph instrument was attached and test carried out. At the end of the polygraph test it was discovered that the subject was telling the truth about his non-involvement. The main culprit later confessed that the subject was not part of the gang that stole the cable.
  • A total of six factory staff members were found guilty after failing the polygraph examination in a case of theft from the company. There were thirteen suspects in this case and all of them were made to go through a polygraph examination. The six guilty staff later confessed to have been involved in collective theft which had been ongoing for some time. An individual report on each of them was forwarded to their employer.
